Fortified amber sour ale aged in canadian whisky barrels
A small batch series featuring different expressions of Bench sour ales aged and blended from this special barrel stock. These very same barrels are now back at Forty Creek, filled with whisky that is soaking in the new and unique flavours contained in the beer washed oak.
With subtle notes of coffee, dried apricot and honeycomb, this expression of Fortified is amber in colour, with a bright acidity and a velvety finish.
